🚀 Shipped Hummingbot v1.27 Release
We are thrilled to announce the release of Hummingbot version 1.27.0! In this update, we have added new strategy templates that use the new StrategyV2 framework:
Funding Rate Arbitrage helps users capitalize on discrepancies in perpetual futures markets
Cross Exchange Market Making: V2 version of our popular XEMM strategy that enables more efficient cross-exchange market making.
We have also streamlined the Docker installation process, making it easier and quicker to get started with Hummingbot.

🤝 V2 Cross Exchange Market Making Strategy
This release includes the V2 version of our popular cross-exchange market making (XEMM) strategy.

📈 Funding Rate Arbitrage Strategy
Another new V2 strategy in this release is Funding Rate Arbitrage, which allows traders to scan for differentials between funding rates between various perpetual exchanges and capture them.

📺 Hummingbot 2.0 Launch Event at Consensus2024
Over the few months, we’ve been making steady progress on the Technical Roadmap we announced in January. A big piece of that was expanding the bot management system, and allowing users to deploy and orchestrate their bots using Dashboard and the new backend-api repo.
That’s why we’re excited the announce the upcoming launch of Hummingbot version 2.0 at Consensus 2024! This release marks the transformation of the open source Hummingbot client into an end-to-end, professional-grade framework for building and deploying algo trading strategies at scale.
We're stoked to officially launch Hummingbot 2.0 and demo how to deploy a fleet of powerful cross-exchange trading bots using the new Hummingbot Dashboard. We'll also show you how you can build and deploy your custom trading strategies using the open source StrategyV2 framework.
📺 Botcamp April Info Session
Cohort 7 of Botcamp is underway, and participants from all over the world are teaming up to learn how to design and code advanced strategies using the new StrategyV2 framework. We’re incredibly excited to see everyone in this cohort will build!
In addition, we are taking registrations for Cohort 8 - Certified Market Maker, our next cohort of Botcamp. The nex cohort will focus more on market making strategies from both a theory and application perspective, and it will require less technical skills than our developer-oriented cohorts.

👿 Don’t fall for scammers!
Finally, we have seen reports of scammers DM-ing users on Discord, Twitter and other channels advertising fake HBOT token sales, as well as bot spammers that impersonated the names & profile of Hummingbot Foundation team members.
If you see anyone trying to scam you or other Hummingbot users, please report it in the #scam-reports Discord channel.
Hummingbot Foundation has never conducted any pre-sale or sale of HBOT tokens, and anyone purporting to offer HBOT tokens is a scammer.
The only way to get HBOT tokens from the Foundation is to earn them via Bounties!
