We are excited to announce the release of Hummingbot version 1.23.0, marking a significant milestone as we wrap up the year. Highlights include new research into building an AI Assistant 🧠 into Hummingbot, the launch of two new DEX connectors: Hyperliquid and XRPL Ledger, and the introduction of innovative tools such as the Crypto Volatility Screener.

🧠 R&D Spotlight: Hummingbot AI Research
We’re making good progress into researching the applicability of LLMs to Hummingbot. This month, we’ve added a set of Jupyter notebooks in the Hummingbot Helper repo to build a RAG pipeline using LangChain based on the Hummingbot docs.

⭐️ R&D Spotlight: Expanding the V2 Strategy Framework
Hummingbot’s V2 Strategy Framework helps users create strategies using Lego-like components.
One of the best features of this new framework is that it lets users backtest strategies using a new backtesting engine component. This month, we’ve added a few Jupyter notebooks to the Dashboard repo that deconstructs how to use the new backtesting engine to backtest an indicator-based strategy. Check them out to gain a deeper understanding of how backtesting engine works!

👿 Don’t fall for scammers!
Finally, we have seen reports of scammers DM-ing users on Discord, Twitter and other channels advertising fake HBOT token sales, as well as bot spammers that impersonated the names & profile of Hummingbot Foundation team members.
If you see anyone trying to scam you or other Hummingbot users, please report it in the #scam-reports Discord channel.
Hummingbot Foundation has never conducted any pre-sale or sale of HBOT tokens, and anyone purporting to offer HBOT tokens is a scammer.
The only way to get HBOT tokens from the Foundation is to earn them via Bounties!
