As mentioned in our last bi-weekly update, we have moved to a 4-week release schedule for the Hummingbot open source software client. The next release (v0.23.0) is expected to be out on Monday, Feb 10.
🚀 Liquidity mining Open Beta kicks off next week!
Our entire team has been working incredibly hard on the data, back-end, and front-end infrastructure to support the upcoming liquidity mining launch. This is a huge engineering challenge because we have to collect order book data from both centralized and decentralized exchanges, aggregate the data and pipe it in real-time to the Hummingbot Miners web app, and automate payouts using Ethereum. Getting this system to work in a robust, performant, and scalable manner is hard.
The system is almost there, but we need more time to solve performance bottlenecks and conduct testing for an extended period of time before launching with real token payouts.
Therefore, we are announcing new dates for the commencement of open beta and production launch of Liquidity Mining. We believe that this extra time will enable us to solidify the infrastructure and provide the best experience for our partners and liquidity miners alike. Thanks for your understanding!
We will provide more information about how to participate in the open beta this week.

😎 Hummingbot is joining 0xpo 2020
Hummingbot is excited to join the 0xpo 2020 in the early February. We’ll have an exhibition booth set up on the second floor, and our Co-founder and CEO Michael Feng will be joining the Market Making on Decentralized Exchanges panel in the afternoon.
